Gaudette International

Established in 1984, Gaudette International has developed web-based software applications under the Essette^™ brand name that can be customized and configured to meet the needs of the client. Each of these applications can be integrated with core systems or they can be installed as "stand alone" applications. All of our applications are simple to use and inexpensive compared to others in the industry. Gaudette International's developers and project managers are located in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Orlando, El Paso, Denver and Puerto Rico.

Integrated tools with Milliman CareWebQI^®

Inpatient Review

Inpatient Review nurses can access our application via a web browser from a tablet or laptop PC. Our application integrates directly with the Inpatient and Surgical Care product in CareWebQI^® to allow the nurse to approve admissions, track progression while in the care facility, discharge the patient, adjust levels of care and document quality measures. Our application uses the results from CareWebQI to send key information back to the core system. For example, if a bed day is approved, adjusted or denied, that information can be sent back to the claims department.

Case/Disease Management

Using CareWebQI's Ambulatory Care and/or Chronic Care Guidelines, a case manager can document indications and perform assessments. He/she can then create a custom care plan for the patient based on results from the assessments.

Authorizations

Our web-based authorization tool typically connects to a core system, picking up member information and history. When a web authorization is processed, it first goes through auto-adjudication rules within our application. If the authorization does not hit any of those rules, the web user interacts with the Referral area of CareWebQI's Ambulatory Care module. The results from CareWebQI are passed back to our application, where the determination is made.
