We request that you send us your slides by Tuesday, February 22, 2011, 6:00 PM PST. If you have given us your permission to do so, we will be distributing your presentation and any handouts via CD to all attendees. Our goal is to have as many of the presentations available to the attendees as possible; however, if we do not receive your presentation by this date, we cannot guarantee that they will make it onto the distributed CD. We appreciate your assistance with this.
Session Room Set-up:
Each meeting room will be set classroom style with head table and podium. The meeting room will contain a podium microphone, several wireless lapel microphones, computer projector, screen, wireless mouse, and a laptop with your presentation already loaded. If you require additional audio/visual equipment, please contact Britt Rognes at britt.rognes@milliman.com.
Instructions for Your PowerPoint Presentations:
- Use the attached PowerPoint template when creating your slides. Please note that the second slide is the title slide. We ask that you keep the slides visually simple, and we strongly advise against animation, crowded content, and overly busy graphics. We do offer assistance in creating your PowerPoint presentation. If you would like to send us a Word document with your content, we can create your slides and email you a copy for approval . For additional presentation tips, click on the Speaker's Portal.
- If you are presenting with co-presenters, please specify the order in which you will be speaking, and submit one presentation.
- If you will not be using a PowerPoint presentation, please email a confirmation to Britt at britt.rognes@milliman.com
- Email your slides to britt.rognes@milliman.com no later than Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at 6:00 PM PST.
On-site Instructions at The Renaissance Esmeralda Resort:
- Check in at the speaker registration desk, where you will receive a speaker information packet.
- Please attend the Speaker Orientation on Sunday, April 3 from 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM. This will be the last opportunity to approve or make minor changes to your slides.
- A speaker practice room will available throughout the Client Forum. Room location will be included in your speaker information packet.
- We request that each speaker be in the meeting room at least 10 minutes before the session begins. Staff will assist you with anything you will need before your session begins. There will be a Milliman Care Guidelines representative for each presentation to introduce you and help with any issues that may arise in the course of your presentation.
